The first pop-up hotel of its kind opens on Tel Aviv Beach

The first pop-up hotel of its kind in the world has opened in a lifeguard tower on Tel Aviv beach. The hotel opening is part of an international campaign by the Tourism Ministry and the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality #TAKEME2TELAVIV, which invites tourists to enjoy a unique experience in the city.

Hyatt enters agreement with Sogo Development for Hyatt Place Tokyo Bay to open in 2019

Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that a Hyatt affiliate has entered into a management agreement with Tokyo Bay Resort Development Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sogo Development Co., Ltd. for a Hyatt Place hotel near Tokyo Disney Resort in Chiba, Japan. Upon its expected opening in 2019, Hyatt Place Tokyo Bay will be the country’s first Hyatt Place hotel. 

Hilton announces three hotel projects for France

Ahead of this year’s MIPIM conference in Cannes, Hilton has announced new projects in France, following a franchise agreement with NAOS to introduce three hotels under three distinct brands. Hilton now has a total pipeline of nine projects across France, which are expected add more than 1,000 rooms to its portfolio in coming years. 

Cunard announces Alaska return for first time in over 20 years

A visit to Alaska has been added by Cunard in 2019 for the first time in more than 20 years. Queen Victoria will operate the only full world cruise in 2019, leaving flagship Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth with “greater flexibility” to travel to a mixture of destinations and itineraries, the line said.
