Dear sir or madam, Good evenining. ^^ I just finished work and came back to my room. I am a management trainee in 5 star hotel in Philippines. I am doing management training in FO 6 months and F&B 6 months. Thus, I am rotating all of FO and F&B dept such as Guest Relations, Front Desk, VIP club, Operator, biz centre and all different outlets. After this 1 year training, I have to choose one department where I am going to work. I have interested in Sales & Marketing, F&B, and HR. However, I don't know where I should go. DOSM has already approved me to work in Sales after mgnt. training. But I am not sure that should I stay in this hotel or better to change to other hotel. Moreover, my position is Supervisor right now. Thus, when I finish this, do I need to apply for Manager or Supervisor? I am really not sure about the position after mgnt. training. Generally speaking, what position (Manager or Supervisor) do I have to apply? Pls give me advise so I will not regret in the future. Is there any great hotelier who can be my mentor? Thanx...
