Worth waiting for... once we get used to the new format - everything new needs a little running-in time - I think the forum will be better and more successful. It is more fun to use, more interesting and, unfortunately, takes more of my time.

And those smileys will come in use to smooth out the various misunderstandings that sometimes occur ! :)

I like the new format but there appears to be much less activity than before. Do you know why? The number of new posts is way down. Now I glance, see very little activity and go elsewhere. And there only seems to be a handfull of posters.
I rarely post, but I do enjoy stirring the pot when needed. But now it's all too business like and no fun.
I preferred it when there was more banter. No matter how frivolous.

updating is good but, lots of people are not using this site like before as OZGM said. And also less job opportunities ,topics in chef corner ,etc.... are posted.

I think there is no time for them to login and post there comments.

Thank you TSK,

Great feedback. I wish that we could swing our magic wand and create more jobs for all the hoteliers out there. The time issue may be a factor why there are less postings, but we think that the value of having the log in is more worth for safety and quality reasons than not having a member service.

Keep them coming and have a great day. :)

The ehotelier.com Team.

...if they don't work they have time!
...if they don't have 5 seconds to log in, they have serious time management problems!
...maybe, just maybe they just have nothing to say! And they are so removed from the industry or LIFE, [that], there is no joy, no interest, no passion left...
Sad, so sad. Just robotic zombies, spent, with nothing to offer us, to their loved ones or their staff.
This is supposed to be a forum of wisdom, hope, experience and humor.
Sadly, this is lost as many too many of us are captives in our own banality-
Speak out speak up!

Happy to see people can finally discuss on eHotelier.com, but I am surprised the comments / reply does not appear at the bottom of the article...

Many people will miss out on the discussion, as they only glance quickly over an article...

Also I would highly recommend to have an integration with the FaceBook profile and automatically have Replies posted on FaceBook (unless unselected) to push the viral / social media impact.

We integrated FaceBook comment at the bottom of our blog articles and we have seen a tremendous impact on feedback and interaction http://www.xotels.co...-marketing-plan

Like somebody else posted there does not seem to be many posts etc and it is a little of pointing. I for one will keep logging in and contributing. I will get my profile sorted and check out the rest of the benefits of membership.
