hey there,
i am a bit confused here, and like to have opinions from HR Managers.
I am in search of new opportunities in F&B Management, and recently, a 5* hotel contacted me, asking to meet for a job interview.
The first interview was with an HR consultant. he was supposed to separate the good, the bad and the ugly, and I was lucky; i fell amount the good. The interview was good; the right questions asked, and I has all opportunity to show that I am the perfect candidate.
The second interview occurred today. I was supposed to meet with the HR VManager, but arriving at the hotel, the ass. HR interviewed me; a girl about 25 yeard young, taking only 25 minutes to talk to me.
I find it an insult, sending me the ass. HR to talk to me for such a short time, and interrupting me all the time. I really want this job, otherwise I'd have said something.
Do you, HR Managers in 5* hotels let your assistants perform job interviews for excom members?
Thanks
Wayne Darwin

Dear Darwin
The Assistant can be required to talk to you on behalf of his/her boss. In Hotel, normally HR Staff will not be allowed for Excom interviews. HR Director will be in charge of HR round.
Thanks

Dearest Wayne, I do handle all EXCOM interviews myself. The result is that I end up doing all the work. Klaus
