Interested to hear thoughts on which are the best/sexiest/most creative websites for hotels...either as a hotel group or as an independant.

Hv seen some real nice ones from Thailand.
Some make the mistake of using "flash" so many clients cannot waitfor the download time.
Lots of lost business from there.
Mandarin Oriental has a practical approach to sites.

the page from Radisson (or nowadays Rezidor Hotel Group) looks fresh, and organized.
It was and still is my favorite, its not so "overloaded" and the angle and style of the pictures is different from the regular stuff.

Thanks....agree flash can be difficult for some to load, but it does help to create great impressions. GHM does have a good website which brings together many varied properties well. I have always liked Como (www.como.bz) for image setting. Also for a good, functional, easy to use and accurate depiction of a property...Lindrum Hotel in Aust has a great website. www.hotellindrum.com.
Interested to hear other thoughts on best website design.

Sites should be highly functional too, promote, sell and make money from your current activities, not only nice pictures. Try this one out:-

Japanese only I'm afraid. Click around and you can get a feel all the same.

just keep in mind that if a site does not open within 4 seconds nobody is going to bother to go any further.

It takes some time to charge but it's worth waiting.
