OK so I am new on here and what to get things moving and get a few posts under my belt so here is my first thread.

Now you may not be the most techy person however if you have a website for your business then you may know that to make it successful in the search engines you need to do lots of work on it and spend lots of money.

Or you can do some stuff for free and is easy to do. Google loves to see links to a website its its way of measuring how popular a website is. So its all about getting as many links as possible then? No its not all about quantity its also about quality and a little bit about quantity and the more relevant the link the more "score" Google will give you and the better chance of a higher ranking.

So cut a long story short there are a lot of hoteliers on here right ( obvious I know) so we are all in the same industry however not all in the same country. So as we are not direct competitors so should we not share our facilities and swap links with each other.

A link from a hotel to another hotel would have huge weight and Google would score higher and if we can get 10, 20, 100 links like this then this would be fantastic.

It wont cost a penny and will help us all gain popularity and hopefully profits too.

Referrals may turn "sour". Legal implications.
Cross border stuff. Reciprocal or barter?
