Hello everyone, :)

Culture is one of my favorite interests and not long ago, I got a stronger interest in the topic of intercultural competence/intercultural (business) communication. After having few course and some readings in this matter, I do strongly believe that the intercultural competence is one of key fcators for success in the multicultural working environment such as hotel and travel industries. I am thinking and would like to do a research that is involved with intercultural competence in tourism or hospitality industry.

I know many international companies in other industries now do intercultural training for their employees which is one way to improve one's intercultural competence. I wonder if intercultural training is a normal practice in the tourism or hospitality industry. If you know anything or have any resources related to this subject, please help me and share what you know with me. Thank you very much~
