Dear all,
I have the opportunity to interview for an international hotel in south of China for the position as DFOB. I am currently Assistant Director of F&B and naturally I am a little bit nervous about the interview.
I have been holding my position for 2 years in an international hotel in China with a similar number of rooms and F&B outlets.
Could you tell me what kind of questions you would ask me? I want to prepare for the interview and of course get the job.
Thank you!

Dear Asst F&B.
If you were being interviewed by me for the postion of DOFB, I would ask this question before any other;
Can you inspire others around you to dream more, learn more, do more? (John Quincy Adams)
If you believe you could then we would proceed to the next step of the process, but if you believed you could not, then it would be better to end the interview, because at that level of the business, what is required first and foremost from F&B and from other team leaders, even above diplomas, experience and technical skills, is the ablity to lead and develop your people and your profits, in that order.
Hospitably yours.

Dear all,
Thank you very much for all your advise. I am sorry that I didn't update the status on my application as I told I would. Anyways, I got my contract 2 weeks ago. Sweet! However, for one reason or another I am not able to transfer away from my current property to the new hotel. So now I have to play the waiting game and hope that the position is still available once I am allowed to leave.
