Haaga (School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management) as a part of HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences, is a pioneering educational institute in its field in Finland. The school in located in a suburban area within seven kilometres of, the centre of Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Helsinki, known as the “Daughter of the Baltic”, has in recent years grown and developed to become a truly metropolitan city with over one million inhabitants, whilst retaining its green spaces and classical architecture.
