M. Scott Parisi announced as President of EcoGreenHotel.com

EcoGreenHotel.com announces M. Scott Parisi as President. The mission of EcoGreenHotel.com is to help reduce the environmental footprint of the hotel industry by Supporting Hospitality Sustainability. EcoGreenHotel.com was launched early in 2008 and is planning for considerable growth in 2009. The planned growth will be with vendor partners that target the hospitality industry, sustainable hotel partners and a consulting arm that will be working with both new build and existing properties.

Parisi is a veteran hospitality professional with over fifteen years experience with major hotel chains, such as Intercontinental, Starwood, Hilton and Choice Hotels. Most recently, Parisi served as Vice President of Operations at New Generation Hospitality, helping to not only grow the company, but was part of the original formation in 2006. Upon his departure, he left New Generation Hospitality with 10 hotels and new properties in the pipeline. Parisi is familiar working with growing organizations stemming back to Growth Properties Hospitality Management where when he joined the company they managed five properties and with focus on growth of third party management contracts was able to help them expand to twenty two properties. Parisi was also with GF Management for nine years in which the company grew from a small seven property management company to a top performing management company and real estate developer with over fifty properties.

Parisi is proud to have been the General Manager of the United States first L.E.E.D. certified and "Environmentally Friendly" Hotel; the Sheraton Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia PA.

It is the commitment of EcoGreenHotel to bring environmentally friendly solutions to hoteliers. One obstacle in providing these solutions is the misconception of cost. Parisi states, "Hotel owners and operators need to understand that operating a sustainable operation is no longer a more expensive way of doing business. In fact, implementing sustainable practices can significantly reduce water, electric, waste and gas bills, saving sometimes up to 10% in direct expenses." Tax incentives are also available for those who make sustainable changes.

Parisi is dedicated to not only developing EcoGreenHotel.com, but to bring affordable, attainable and beneficial environmentally-conscience practices to hotel owners and operators. Parisi will head up all consulting done by EcoGreenHotel.

EcoGreenHotel will provide ‘Green' Consulting Services to include:

• Audit of hotel building design and operations

• Provide a recommendations report on building and operations

• Lay ground work for an environmental management system

• Educate and train management for new environmental direction

• Conduct on-site environmental workshops for all levels of staff

• Develop a customized environmental policy and purchasing plan

• Assist with certification processing, including LEED_^TM
