The Five-Star service at luxury hotels doesn't always start at check-in and end at check-out-it can make getting through the airport easier, too. Some hotels offer speedy airport concierge services that help you dodge hassles and delays-from bypassing the security line to having your passport checked in at a wait-free private lounge. Forbes Travel Guide found a group of hotels with impressive airport services-read on to find out where to make your own reservation for V.I.P. treatment, then visit Forbes Travel Guide's online home, Startle.com, to learn even more about these hotels.
The Peninsula Beverly Hills
Leaving Beverly Hills is never easy, but the airport concierge staff at this Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel makes it far less of a drag. Request The Peninsula Beverly Hills' departure service and you'll arrive at Los Angeles International Airport to find your boarding pass preprinted. You'll then be escorted through the first class security line (regardless of the seat you've booked) by an airport concierge. He will use his expertise and connections to avoid any waits, sidestepping checkpoints that have full-body scanners, for example. Next you'll settle into an airline club lounge as a guest of the hotel. Want to take the hotel experience with you even further? Order a meal from the Pen Air menu at check-out-the hotel will pack you a cooler with dishes such as crispy fried chicken and potato salad or seared Ahi tuna over Asian cabbage.

MGM Grand, Las Vegas
When V.I.P.s-from high rollers to business convention big leaguers-staying at Las Vegas' MGM Grand or Mandalay Bay arrive at McCarran International Airport, they're greeted at the gate and escorted to a limousine (the process goes so smoothly that guests can go from landing to check-in at the hotel in 15 minutes, according to Shadi Omeish, director of hotel operations). When leaving Sin City, high-priority guests are met at the airport curb by a MGM Grand staff member who will usher them through a special employees-and-guests-only security line and all the way to the gate.
