To celebrate the biggest party night of the year, luxury hotels are throwing glamorous New Year's Eve bashes for guests and locals to ring in 2013 in style. From decadent dinners to all-night parties, here is an overview of New Year's Eve celebrations at hotels around the world.

• Lungarno Collection, the Ferragamo-family owned hospitality group, is helping travelers celebrate New Year's with the New Year in Florence package at the collection's Florentine properties--Hotel Lungarno, Continentale, GALLERY Hotel Art and Lungarno Suites. The package includes two nights' accommodations, daily breakfast, free entry to the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum and entrance to the New Year's Gala Dinner at Borgo San Jacopo Ristorante at Hotel Lungarno. Rates for the New Year's Eve package start at €360 (approximately $461 USD). Room rates start at €150 for GALLERY (approximately $190 USD); €195 for Hotel Lungarno (approximately $248 USD); €205 for Lungarno Suites (approximately $260 USD) and €120 for Continentale (approximately $152 USD).

• Ring in the new year in exotic Istanbul at the new Marti Istanbul Hotel. The glamorous property will celebrate the onset of 2013 with two exciting celebrations for guests and locals alike. Guests are invited to enjoy a five course gourmet menu with wine pairings and live music at the hotel's signature restaurant Brass. For guests who prefer to party all night long, the hotel will be throwing a festive bash beginning at 8 PM with cocktails in the lobby and continuing with a dinner buffet with live music and dancing under the impressive Ottoman tent at Quad Restaurant & Bar. If a big blowout event is more your style, the "Centennial Blast Off Package" will give you a night of fantastic modern and party music from Big Blast and the Party Masters to bring in 2013 with a bang. • Hotel Madeline Telluride and Inn at Lost Creek are boutique addresses with ideal ski-in/ski-out locations in Telluride, CO. On New Year's Eve, enjoy fireworks and the annual Torchlight Parade down Misty Maiden run to the base of Lift 4 in Mountain Village. Rev, Hotel Madeline's definitive fine dining destination is offering a decadent five-course menu for guests who dine at the restaurant on December 31st. Enjoy elk loin carpaccio with black truffles, filet and foie gras, and vanilla crème brulée among other culinary masterpieces. • The Homestead in Hot Springs, VA is offering two New Year's Eve bashes to appeal to all types of guests. The New Year's Eve Gala in the Grand Ballroom is an up tempo party with music from the group "Mo Soul," an energetic band with a dynamic stage show and packed dance floor performing everything from Top 40 to Motown dressed in their sharp, stylish black tux attire. The party in the Dining Room is more refined during dinner but then gets revved up by the band The Adrian Duke Project. Guests are greeted with a glass of champagne on their arrival and are escorted to their tables for dinner. Party favors are included and each party is punctuated by a balloon drop at midnight. Rates from $400 per room.

• Party like a celebrity this New Year's Eve and leave 2012 with a bang at Hyatt Regency Atlanta's New Year's Eve party with Downtown Countdown. Instead of worrying about getting home after the festivities, party goers can catch ride on the elevator and stay at Hyatt Regency Atlanta and receive a special rate when they request the NYEATL offer code. Guests can also purchase tickets to the party which will have five live bands, three DJs, four live comedians and the countdown to the largest ball drop in Atlanta.The doors to the Downtown Countdown event will be open from 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. and tickets include open bar and dinner buffet. Each December, the town's rooftops and sidewalks are aglow with small paper lanterns dubbed farolitos, and the aroma of piñon logs burning in kiva fireplaces fills the air. La Posada De Santa Fe Resort & Spa's New Year's Eve Gala Dinner & Dance invites visitors and locals alike to celebrate the New Year with drinks, dinner, dancing to a live band, and an exclusive performance by the Harlem Quartet ($325 per person; tickets at TicketsSantaFe.org).The resort's "Everyday is a Holiday" package offers guests the chance to save 15% on stays of 1 to 3 nights or 25% on stays of 4 nights or more, and includes one lunch for two. • Celebrate New Year's Eve abroad in Zurich-one of the most stunning and romantic cities in Europe. The Dolder Grand, in Zurich is making it easy for Christmas time travelers to extend their stay straight through New Years with the New Year's Eve at the Dolder Grand package. Guests can enjoy a four-course dinner in the Garden Restaurant as well as a New Year's brunch. Spending the holidays in Zurich allows travelers to take time to peruse the famed Christmas markets at the main train station-one of Europe's largest indoor Christmas markets, and witness the magical fireworks display on New Year's Eve over Zurich Lake basin. • On New Years Eve, sit down to dinner with a stunning menu of delights at DUKES ST. JAMES, LONDON. The dinner includes Ibérico ham, quail egg, variations of free-range duck, parfait, compression samosa, XXL scallop, taste of artichoke, winter truffle, scotch beef, potato terrine, oxtail, root vegetable, cranberry, frozen juice, vodka, textures of chocolate, Pavé, sorbet, brûlée, coffee and treats. The Prix Fixe menu is £185 (approximately $296 USD) including a glass of Champagne or £235 (approximately $376 USD) with wine pairings. Then, to bring in the New Year, join their piper in the courtyard! DUKES ST. JAMES, LONDON is also offering a New Year's Day brunch. Guests can choose either a full English breakfast including Forman's smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, kedgeree, Eggs Benedict, natural smoked haddock fishcakes and soft eggs or fresh baked pastries, buttermilk pancakes & blueberry compote, cured and roasted meats, British cheeses, kidneys turbigo & parsley croutons, chicken fricassée & wild rice, cut fruit platter, organic yogurt, DUKES granola, cranberries, chocolate chip muffins and baked vanilla cheesecake. • The Nines in Portland, Oregon will celebrate the holidays with a season of decadent dining and Gagnam Style dancing. Located atop the Nines, Departure is an escape from the ordinary and a journey into sophisticated surroundings with innovative modern Asian cuisine and breathtaking city views. On New Year's Eve, Departure will go Gagnam Style with a Korean inspired four-course menu including house favorites for $50 per person. DJ Sasha Couture will start spinning at 10pm playing party tunes and KPop favorites until 2:00 am.

• In Paris, Hôtel Plaza Athénée will be celebrating the holidays on ice with a Skating Rink in the Cour Jardin, the hotel's courtyard. The rink will be supervised by an instructor while onlookers can savor Christophe Michalak and Head Pastry Chef Jean-Marie Hiblot's annual holiday dessert selection available at Galerie des Gobelins. In the evenings, the rink will be the scene of Les Bancs d'Hiver, a pop-up temporary restaurant reflective of a mountain ski resort with long wooden table seating and a seasonal menu by Chef Philippe Marc, available from Thursdays to Saturdays. Adding to the festivities on New Year's Eve, the hotel will give guests the chance to dine on the hotel's skating rink, surrounded by festive decorations. Menu is priced at €500 per person with wine & dining pairing (approximately $656 USD). For guests who prefer to stay indoors, Hôtel Plaza Athénée will offer a special New Year's Eve menu at Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée; Price for degustation menu €950 (approximately $1,230 USD) per person, excluding drinks or €1,350 (approximately $1,749 USD) per person with wine-and-dine pairing.

• Coworth Park, located outside of London in Ascot, is to ring in the New Year in style! Upon arrival on Monday, December 31st, guests will be served Champagne Afternoon Tea in the drawing room. Later that evening, guests are invited to the hotel's very own black tie dinner in the Mansion House, a special party filled with dancing and music until 1 a.m., and celebratory nightcap toasts and snacks until 2 a.m. Guests who book for the New Year will also receive breakfast on January 1st and 2nd, a cooking Masterclass with the chef, behind the scenes tours of the hotel, and use of all facilities at The Spa at Coworth Park, including indoor pool with underwater music and steam room. For families who stay during the New Year, a nightly story time with cookies and milk will be provided for the children, special membership access to Coworth Park Kids (on-site kids club), and a variety of film showings in the Tower House Cinema.  Package is valid from December 31st- January 2nd with a two night minimum; rate is inclusive of VAT at 20% and subject to availability. Rate is per person per night based on two people sharing a superior stable room, and any cancellations for New Year at Coworth Park must be made by November 31, 2012.

• London's 45 Park Lane is celebrating the holiday season with culinary delights from Executive Chef David McIntyre of CUT at 45 Park Lane. The New Year's Day Brunch Menu will be a three-course celebratory meal, priced at £65 (approximately $105) per person excluding wines, while /£105 (approximately $169) per person inclusive of wines. The hotel's Bar 45 will have a list of seasonal cocktails and its Rough CUTs menu will complement the drinks offering with tasting portions of some of Puck's signature dishes. In addition, the Media Room now offers private dining for up to 12 guests and will serve special festive champagne breakfasts, lunches and dinners upon request.

• Le Meurice in Paris will mark the turn of the calendar with delicious New Year's Eve Celebrations featuring the Three-Michelin Star Chef Yannick Alléno at Restaurant Le Meurice. Prices begin at €980/$1,269 USD per person, beverage not included.

• In Los Angeles, The Beverly Hills Hotel which celebrates its century this year, is offering Holiday Inspired Menus at the Polo Lounge for New Year's Eve/New Year's Day, all topped off with homemade pumpkin bread, homemade gingerbread or homemade macaroons to take home.

• Bring in the New Year in one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world. Le Méridien Bora Bora is set on a six mile-long "motu" islet and offers an unsurpassed view of the world-renowned Mount Otemanu. This year, Le Méridien Bora Bora will be offering a musical atmosphere with a local group from 6 to 10pm, and a New Year's Eve buffet dinner starting at 7pm with a DJ atmosphere throughout the dinner.
