The New York Palace Celebrates Completion of $140M Reno. The New York Palace, a luxury hotel in midtown Manhattan, has completed the second phase of its $140-million renovation, with the addition of six culinary destinations and a redesign of its hotel Lobby and Towers Lobby. San Francisco-based design firm BAMO, who was hired to redesign the hotel’s newly enhanced VIP Towers Rooms and Suites, was also employed to transform the private Towers Lobby. Source: Hotel Business
NIZUC Resort & Spa Opens in Mexico. Punta Nizuc, Cancun, Mexico—NIZUC Resort & Spa, formerly a private Mexican presidential retreat, has opened. Designed by Alejandro Escudero, the ocean, coastline and natural environment served as inspiration, marrying water and land, according to the company. In addition to a soothing colour palette, the resort features organic, rustic furnishings.
