Roomer partners with Hickory Global Partners
Roomer(www.roomertravel.com), a travel website that provides a solution for non-refundable hotel cancelations for both consumers and hotels, has announced a partnership with Hickory Global Partners (HGP), a strategic business alliance travel company, that provides service, distribution and technology to their network of travel agency and supplier partners.
An online marketplace for non-refundable hotel rooms, Roomer's service will be provided to clients of HGP's network of travel agents to utilize, should they experience a change in travel plans, or if they are looking for a deal on a hotel room.
"As we continue to build and maintain our presence with travelers around the globe, we are pleased to announce our collaboration with Hickory Global Partners, to further expand our customer base through its network of agencies and partners," said Richie Karaburun, Managing Director of Roomer. "Clients of HGP will now be introduced to a secure and effective solution to use when they need to, for whatever reason, cancel their non-refundable hotel reservation, along with a new way for spontaneous travelers to score discounts on great hotel rooms."
Roomer's involvement with HGP marks the website's latest partnership venture to increase inventory and build brand awareness within the travel and hospitality space. Not only does Roomer's concept assist those stuck with a non-refundable hotel room, or those looking for a deal, but it also increases revenue for hotels that would have been lost if the room was to remain unoccupied.
"We are very pleased to be the first agency network to collaborate with Roomer and provide an additional valuable resource to our network of agency partners," said Chris Dane, President of Hickory Global Partners. "Our strategic alliance with Roomer is an all-around win-win situation creating an opportunity for their clients unable to utilize their non-refundable bookings," continued Dane.
Since its Fall 2013 expansion announcement, Roomer has partnered with notable companies across the globe including InnDependent Boutique Collection Hotels (IBC) and InnSuites Hotels Inc., to expand inventory for consumers, as well as increase brand exposure within the travel industry.
