In just eight years of operation, Americas Best Value Inn has transformed from an innovative concept to the fastest growing hotel chain in America and is on track to do something no one else in the industry has done - reach 800 properties within the brand's eighth year.
"I have no intention of slowing down," said Roger Bloss, CEO and President of Americas Best Value Inn. "We will continue this momentum as long as there are hotel owners who need and want an affordable alternative to hotel brand affiliation."
With 752 properties in its system at the end of July, Bloss credits the brand's unprecedented growth to the unique member model he developed that provides hotel owners with short-term contracts; low, flat fees; a voice and a vote in the brand's direction; and no liquidated damages.
"Other brands have certainly tried to imitate our model, but none have achieved the level of success that Americas Best Value Inn has attained because they don't have our level of comprehensive resources and development tools to support their property owners," said Patrick Mullinix, VP of Development.
A new development tool that has seen tremendous success this summer is Americas Best Value Inn's weekly webcast, SPIN (Sales Presentation Internet News). Held every Wednesday at 1:00 pm EST, participants have the opportunity to interact with Roger Bloss and other division leaders and directly compare their current brand with the resources of Americas Best Value Inn.
"Registration and attendance of the webcast SPIN has been incredible," said Mullinix. "Most people can't believe that the CEO and founder of the 12th largest hotel company in the world is going to take the time to answer their questions. But that's what makes Americas Best Value Inn different. We are an open-door company and encourage interaction and dialogue. As a member within our organization, you have full access to the resources, tools, and people you need to increase your Return on Investment."
