The target group of this research were people who had experienced service from the surveyed companies more than once within one year from the survey date. At the very least, the minimum number of respondents were 300 per company and the data was collected through face-to-face interviews and Internet panels. The purpose of this survey, through an evaluation of the quality standards in the service sector was to assess the level of service quality. Through such an improvement not only can national competitiveness be strengthened but also stability in service and international reliability can be also expected to level up the image of Korea. The survey was conducted by the Korea Gallup Research Center between May and August 2008.
