Choice Hotels International has unveiled its new all-suite brand, Cambria Suites.
The lower-upscale, select-service brand will cater to business travelers but accommodate leisure travelers as well. Cambria Suite properties will average 100-150 units with a stylish design and separate living and bedroom areas. In-room amenities will include deluxe bedding and linens, plasma TVs, refrigerators and microwaves, ergonomic desks and high-speed wireless Internet access. Hotels will also feature fitness facilities, an indoor pool, business services and meeting space.
Rates are projected to be about $100 per night. Although Choice has not secured a location for the first Cambria Suites, the firm expects to have its first property on the market by late 2006.
