Hilton Opens its First Worldwide Resort in South Korea
The Hilton Namhae Golf & Spa Resort opened its doors on 24 October 2006. It is the first resort in South Korea to incorporate a seaside golf course verlooking the Straits of Korea. The property is a 170 all-suite and villa estate, featuring a panoramic coastal view and stunning contemporary design. Koos Klein, Area President Hilton International Middle East and Asia Pacific commented, "The opening of the Hilton Namhae Golf Resort and Spa is another milestone in our expansion plans for Hilton in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. Highlights of the five-star property include the seafront 18-hole golf course with an all-year round playability. The focal point of the resort activities is its ultra modern clubhouse, designed to resemble an unfolding prism, which houses restaurants, bars and a large spa with a panoramic ocean view.
