Australian accommodation provider Oaks Hotels & Resorts, a division of Minor Hotel Group, is moving ahead with its Australian expansion, announcing plans to open a brand new Victorian property within the next two months. This will take the company's Melbourne property network to five and total Oaks portfolio to 46.
In the final stages of completion, the four-star hotel spans 10 floors, with the reception and a café occupying the ground floor and a roof top terrace providing a vantage point to watch the city go by and enjoy a barbeque with travelling companions. Oaks Pinnacle will offer spacious one-bedroom apartments equipped with full kitchen and laundry facilities, air conditioning, wi-fi access (including 30 minutes of free, continuous use daily), designated work desk, flat screen TV with cable channels and in-house movies, and private balcony offering views over the surrounding city and laneways.
The second new-build Melbourne hotel to open under the Oaks Hotels & Resorts banner in 12 months, Oaks Pinnacle is located in South Yarra on Yarra Street, intersecting with the popular Toorak Road and just steps from the famous shopping mecca of Chapel Street. Oaks Pinnacle is also a 10-minute drive from the CBD and therefore suited to travellers visiting Melbourne for leisure, business or both.
