wow.travel (the online magazine of kiwicollection.com
) edited by Mary Gostelow, introduces Seven Sensational Hotels for Babies.
1) THE BEVERLY HILLS HOTEL & BUNGALOWS, LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, USA
They know how to nurture babies here, in the legendary 'pink palace', with cots with teddy bears to keep, and in-room microwaves for milk-warming. Parents love the hotel's 24-hour gym and the celebrity-watching round the pool and in the Polo Lounge. Next month, by the way, the hotel launches what sounds like a stunning new A-list bar, Bar Nineteen 12, designed by Dianna Wong and Glen Texeira.

2) WILLARD INTERCONTINENTAL, WASHINGTON DC, USA
This historic hotel has a new resident baby, Joy, the weeks-old daughter of GM/VP Hervé Houdré (she loves staying here, everyone says). All babies find their rooms come with cribs, tiny robes, and everything baby might want, from hair and body wash, milk bath, rubber duck, milk and baby-sitters available on demand. Parents will enjoy the new-look Willard Room and afternoon tea in the famous Peacock Alley - and soon the lobby will be decked in fresh cherry blossom, for the annual season.

3) FOUR SEASONS RESORT NEVIS, CARIBBEAN
Four Seasons Resort Nevis, WI, run by GM Martin Sinclair, has buggy-easy slopes at each step, and baby-changing tables in the washrooms (yes, even the men's). Room service offers puréed fruits and vegetables and carefully-screened babysitters are available. All the blocks of rooms and suites come with communal wash rooms, which your mother will appreciate (and she may then relax with a papaya hot stone massage in the spa, or try the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones II golf course). Your older siblings will love the hotel's Sea Turtle Education program (see www.cccturtle.org
).

4) MANDARIN ORIENTAL LONDON, ENGLAND
Arrive here, and there is a wooden crib with linens, quilts and a hanging mobile - and a soft toy and red blanket with embroidered logo to take home. If your parents have forgotten your buggy, the concierge can help, and can also provide interesting walks in the adjacent Hyde Park. Mom can also escape, thanks to a Rockabye Babysitter, to a post-natal or other wellbeing treatment in the spa - and back home she will appreciate the Jo Malone toiletries in the bathroom. GM is Christoph Mares.
