Silk Road of Al Ahsa InterContinental, the only luxury hotel located in Al Hofuf city, has announced the hiring of Justin Jose as its new Sous Chef to bring new changes in dining experience and further expand the restaurant’s Asian Fusion offering that is unique in Al Ahsa region.
Growing up, Mr Jose was influenced by his home country’s rich culinary heritage and passion for food. He describes himself as being drawn to culture and diversity which will be an asset to Silk Roads’ fusion of cuisines. Mr Jose, who hails from India, brings with him a wealth of finer dining experiences after thirteen years of working with various hotel brands across Middle East such as Shangri La and Atlantis Palm Jumeirah and travels within Asia.
Mr Jose has revamped Silk Road’s menu and will feature several new items that will bring fresh and unique fine dining experience. He emphasized to achieve a restaurant concept specializing in Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Filipino and other Asian cuisines into a fusion with complete balance in flavours, spice and texture using predominantly locally sourced ingredients.
