Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) launched its new Deals Finder tool with advanced filtering tools to the market at ITB in Berlin this week. The global search giant hopes the move will enable its partners to chose more specific hotel deals for their marketing campaigns and thus drive online conversion and increase brand loyalty.
“Research shows that one of the top reasons people sign up for emails is to access discounts, which makes effective merchandising crucial in driving conversion and brand loyalty,” said Ariane Gorin, Senior Vice President and General Manager, EAN brand.
“EAN Deals Finder allows our partners to easily surface the type of deals their travellers are searching for, driving higher conversion and higher customer retention. EAN’s ability to provide leading rates and availability is testament to the reach of our global lodging supply teams and our relationship with hotel partners across the globe.”
EAN partners with hundreds of affiliates across 92 countries so they can sell Expedia product through their sites. The Deals Finder, available as an additional tool to EAN partners, features all of EAN’s more than 650,000 hotel deals available up to 18 months ahead of booking date.
Expedia says the Deals Finder tool has a simple interface and curfaces hotel deals “in seconds”.
Its advanced filtering features include star rating, percentage discount and customer travel dates. The deals can then be used to power the partner’s merchandising activities, such as email campaigns, banner advertising and landing pages.
