Pan Pacific Singapore has announced the appointment of Shigeru Tamura as the Director of Restaurants, Bars and Events with effect from March 9. Mr Tamura has more than a decade of experience in hotel food and beverage operations in Singapore, Japan and Korea.
Prior to joining Pan Pacific Singapore, Mr Tamura was the Director of Crockfords Tower at Resorts World Sentosa, where he was fully responsible for the 105 exclusive all suites hotel, food and beverage operations and sales and marketing in Japan since October 2015. Mr Tamura also played an instrumental role as part of the resort’s project team in securing a listing of four restaurants with a total of seven Michelin-Stars in the inaugural Michelin Guide Singapore 2016.
His past experience includes being the Executive Assistant Manager at ANA InterContinental Hotel Tokyo, Japan and Director of Food and Beverage at The Plaza in Seoul, Korea.
Fluent in English and Japanese, Mr Tamura holds a Hotel Management diploma from Les Roches Hotel Management School in Switzerland. Mr Tamura will be responsible for all aspects of the restaurants, bars and events service and culinary strategy and operations at Pan Pacific Singapore.
