NH Collection Frankfurt Messe will open its doors in early 2021 in a strategic location of the business district and will be part of a 120-metre-high skyscraper. The new establishment of the NH Collection’s brand of the company is the 56 hotel signed since the current strategic plan started to be implemented in 2014.
NH Hotel Group has signed a new NH Collection hotel in Frankfurt that will be the company’s second property in the city, and the sixth in Germany, from its upper-upscale brand.
The four-star NH Collection Frankfurt Messe will be part of the 120-metre-high skyscraper located at the corner of Mainzer Landstrasse/Güterplatz and planned by Frankfurt-based project developer Groß and Partner. The hotel is due to open in early 2021 and will offer 416 rooms together with an area of just under 2,000 square meters for meeting and events.
The new flagship of NH Collection in the German city will benefit from an excellent location at the heart of a booming business district, near to the Messe Frankfurt trade fair site. With more than 2.5 million visitors every year and some 600,000 square meters of exhibition space, Messe Frankfurt is the second largest exhibition venue in the world. The hotel is also very close to an important shopping mall and a central station, both within walking distance, and only two underground stops away from Frankfurt’s opera and the old city.
In addition to the NH Collection property to the hotel of NH Hotel Group’s upper-upscale brand, the distinctive high-rise building will also accommodate office premises in the upper storeys. Plans for the building concept also include restaurant, bar and fitness areas alongside parking facilities.

This new NH Collection establishment in Frankfurt consolidates the great international growth of NH Hotel Group’s upper-upscale brand. The company currently operates 67 NH Collection establishments in key cities in 13 countries in Europe and Latin America and has signed 10 more that will open their doors before 2021.
