Orlando-based agency, Plan A PR & Marketing, a full-service PR, marketing and communications firm specializing in the global B2B hospitality sector, has been chosen as the Agency of Record (AOR) for Angie Hospitality, LLC, creators of the newly launched voice-activated, Wi-Fi enabled hotel guest room assistant, “Angie.”

This partnership announcement comes on the heels of Angie Hospitality’s official introduction to the industry at the HT-NEXT Conference in Orlando earlier this month, and its landmark win of HTNG’s prestigious TechOvation Award, which was presented during the event. Plan A was originally retained to conceptualize, write and produce Angie’s award-winning video presentation for the competition. Under the new agreement, the Plan A team will head the development of strategic marketing and communications campaigns for Angie Hospitality, through the use of targeted media relations and various integrated marketing strategies.

“As we continue to develop and deploy Angie’s voice-based technology solution to the global hospitality industry, we have confidence that Plan A’s vast experience and extensive knowledge in the hotel technology sector will position us as a pioneer of voice control systems,” said Ted Helvey, CEO of Angie Hospitality. “We have clear-cut goals for integrating this technology into the hospitality market, and fully trust in Plan A’s ability to aid us in strategically and efficiently achieving our business objectives.”

With over two decades of experience in hotel technology marketing and communications, Plan A has a longstanding reputation for helping its clients to succeed through a comprehensive range of marketing tactics, including branding, public relations, trade show marketing, digital advertising and much more. As the AOR for Angie Hospitality, the Plan A team will focus on gaining maximum results by expanding Angie Hospitality’s reach into the global hospitality market through increased brand exposure, positive media relations campaigns, integrated marketing strategies and targeted communications.

“With the launch of Angie at HT-NEXT earlier this month, Angie Hospitality has immediately placed itself at the forefront of voice-based technology in the hotel industry, and we see massive growth potential for this critical innovation,” said Andrea Mane, president of Plan A. “Voice technology is a new frontier for the hospitality industry, and we are excited to be a part of this seismic shift in both guest service and back-of-house efficiency. We look forward to helping bring everything that Angie has to offer to the industry and aiding in the continued growth of Angie Hospitality, as a company.”
